PolyPost

Deleting your data

You can remove PolyPost's access to your social accounts, and delete the data PolyPost holds, in any of the following ways. You may want to export your data first: choose "Export my data" from the profile menu.

1. Disconnect a social account in PolyPost

In PolyPost, go to Settings ▸ Connected accounts and choose Disconnect next to the account. PolyPost immediately deletes the access tokens for that account and for every Page or channel connected through it, and can no longer publish to it or read from it. Any Admin or Editor in the workspace can do this.

2. Remove PolyPost from the platform's own settings

You can also revoke access from the platform side, whether or not you can still sign in to PolyPost:

  • Facebook and Instagram: in your Facebook settings, open Business integrations (or Apps and websites) and remove PolyPost.
  • YouTube: remove PolyPost from your Google account's third-party access settings.
  • LinkedIn, TikTok, and X: open the connected or authorized apps section of your account settings and remove PolyPost.

3. Delete a whole workspace

An Admin can go to Settings ▸ Workspace and choose Delete workspace. This permanently deletes the workspace's posts, uploaded media, connected accounts and their access tokens, inbox conversations, notifications, and pending invitations. It can't be undone.

4. Ask us to delete your account

To delete your PolyPost account itself, or any other information we hold about you, email avery@matchboxstudio.xyz from the address on your account, with the subject "Data deletion request." We'll confirm once it's done, within 30 days.

If you aren't a PolyPost user but commented on or messaged an organization that uses PolyPost, contact that organization, or email us and we'll help.

Some records may be kept after deletion where we need them for security or legal reasons, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
