Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of PolyPost, a social media management service operated by Matchbox Studio LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using PolyPost, you agree to them. If you use PolyPost on behalf of an organization, you agree to them for that organization and confirm you have authority to do so.
The service
PolyPost lets teams compose, schedule, approve, and publish posts to connected social platforms, manage comments and messages from those platforms in one inbox, and review how their posts perform.
Accounts and workspaces
- You must give accurate information and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
- Each workspace belongs to the organization that created it. Its Admins decide who can access it and with what role, and the organization is responsible for what its members do in it.
- Tell us promptly at avery@matchboxstudio.xyz if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Connected social platforms
- When you connect a social account, you authorize PolyPost to act on your behalf using the permissions you grant, such as publishing posts and reading comments.
- You must follow the terms and policies of every platform you connect, including their rules on content, automation, and spam.
- PolyPost isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, or Google. Platforms can change or restrict their services at any time, which can change or interrupt what PolyPost is able to do on them.
- By connecting a YouTube channel, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you create or upload to PolyPost. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and transmit it — including publishing it to the platforms you choose — only as needed to provide PolyPost to you. You're responsible for your content, and for having the rights to everything you publish.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use PolyPost to:
- publish anything unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harassing, or hateful;
- send spam, or operate fake or deceptive accounts or coordinated inauthentic activity;
- get around a platform's limits, or break its terms;
- access PolyPost or other users' data without authorization, or interfere with how it works;
- upload malicious code; or
- resell or redistribute PolyPost without our written permission.
Fees and billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Admins can change or cancel a plan at any time from Settings ▸ Billing. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Fees don't include taxes, which you're responsible for where they apply.
- Fees are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.
- We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of your plan.
Availability and changes
We work to keep PolyPost available and reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features, and will give reasonable notice before removing anything significant.
Ending your use
- You can stop using PolyPost at any time. An Admin can delete a workspace from Settings ▸ Workspace, which permanently deletes its data as described in our Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users, platforms, or PolyPost at risk. Where we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
Disclaimers
PolyPost is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We aren't responsible for social platforms' actions, or for how your content performs on them.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to PolyPost is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Indemnity
You'll defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your content, or from your breach of these terms or of a platform's terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update the effective date above. If a change is significant, we'll tell workspace Admins at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use PolyPost after that means you accept the new terms.
